North-Kivu – Covid-19 : The province of North Kivu has recorded a total of 36 cases of recovery from Covid-19

It was the Governor of North Kivu who officially announced it on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 in the unloading ceremony for a new wave of Covid-19 dimu at the Munigi treatment center in Nyiragongo territory.
According to Carly Nzanzu Kasivita, of the 52 cases registered so far in the provinces, 36 have been cured, 4 community deaths have been recorded and 4 others have been sent back to their countries of origin. Only 8 cases remain active and supported by the response, including 6 in Goma and 2 in Beni, the authority said.
To stem the spread of this deadly pandemic in North Kivu, the Governor of the province had taken a series of restrictive measures including the compulsory wearing of masks in public places and in public transport, the ban on driving from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for motorcyclists and public transport.

Since the beginning of the epidemic declared on March 10, 2020 in the country, the cumulative amount is 4,390, including 4,389 confirmed cases and 1 probable case. In total, there were 96 deaths (95 confirmed cases and 1 probable case) and 565 people recovered.
