In front of the press on Sunday May 31, 2020, the coordinator of the communication cell of the governor of North Kivu said that the assessment of the provincial deputy Promesse Matofali who judged negative the results of Carly Nzanzu at the head of the province, is “populist, irregular” and “out of context of the province”.
Serges Farini believes that a provincial elected representative cannot evaluate a government in a press briefing, because the law gives him several means of parliamentary control.
According to him, North Kivu is in a kind of recession that the provincial institutions are trying to save.
“Although elected on May 30, 2019, the Carly government did not start operating on that date. His program had to be accepted and his government invested on June 28, 2019, his government which did not find much in the bank was given a budget, which was voted in particular by the Honorable Promesse Matofali on December 20 2019. In short, the Honorable Promise has shown a glaring ignorance in the chronology of the facts that accompanied the taking office of the government Carly Nzanzu Kasivita, we excuse his ignorance ”, told Actu-30.info, the coordinator of the communication cell of the governorate.
On the other hand, he invited the said deputy to make proposals rather than limiting himself to criticism.
« But under the same conditions, even the angel Gabriel will not produce miracles. The Carly Nzanzu government has inherited a situation it knows about and should, if it cares about the population, make proposals rather than being limited to low-level, populist, eccentric, superfluous and infertile criticism ”, a- he clarified.
As a reminder, the deputy Promesse Matofali had, when he left the media, judged negative the record of a year of the governor of North Kivu. Nevertheless, he said that he addressed a written question with debate to Governor Kasivita to answer the various questions regarding his management of the province.
